Select a Google account and check folder collection and extraction.

1. Choose a folder
Sign in at https://drive.google.com with the account you want. New → New folder → name it after the project, or open an existing folder. Upload or move your documents there.
Copy https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/FOLDER_ID from the address bar. To connect one file, use its Share → Copy link.
In LUNA select Google Drive, a descriptive name (including the account), paste the URL and choose Folder/subfolders or file. Whole Drive imports accessible personal and shared files into this project; choose it only when that entire scope is intended.
2. Select and authorize the account
Save connection, then click Google account connection on its card. In the Google account chooser, select an account that can actually open the folder. Use another account allows a different Gmail/Workspace sign-in.
Review and allow Drive read permission, then return to LUNA. If the OAuth app is in testing, ask the administrator to add that email as a test user. access_denied may indicate institution policy/test-user restrictions; redirect_uri_mismatch requires the administrator to correct the OAuth callback.
For different Google accounts, create separate connection cards and authorize each with its intended account. Reauthorizing an existing card with a different account replaces that card’s credential.
3. Verify documents and synchronization
After authorization choose Collect now. Supported text extraction includes DOCX, HWPX, PDF, TXT, MD, PPTX, XLSX and Google Docs/Sheets/Slides. OCR of scanned PDFs and video transcription are separate from this document reader.
Materials → filter by project → open a file → inspect body/source update time. Scheduled collection revisits new and changed files.
For Partial or Continue scan pending, inspect details and wait for subsequent collections. Original Drive files are not modified or deleted.
4. Analyze PDF and image content
- Open the collected Drive PDF/image. Ordinary text extraction may miss scans, diagrams and tables.
- Automatic Drive analysis is enabled by default and processes existing and new files sequentially. Manual requests are available under File visual analysis. Source access and the connection owner’s AI permission and daily allowance apply. See Personal AI memory and source coverage for supported formats and limits.
- Compare completed notes with the original, especially figures, tables and numbers, before using them in research decisions.
- Automatic analysis runs sequentially; it does not finish every file immediately. Format, size, page limits, AI allowance and access can restrict analysis. Check freshness after the source changes.
