1. Create an integration
Sign in as a workspace owner at https://www.notion.so/profile/integrations (Creator dashboard). Build → Internal connections → Create a new connection → enter a name and select the workspace → create. Older interfaces may say New integration.
In Capabilities enable Read content. Insert/Update content is unnecessary for collection alone. For LUNA publication also enable Insert content and allow access to the publication parent. Copy the Installation access token (formerly Internal Integration Secret) from Configuration and paste it only into LUNA’s token field.
2. Grant access to the root page
Open the top-level project page in Notion. Top-right ••• → Connections → Add connections → search for the integration you created → confirm. Menu wording can vary by Notion language/version.
Share → Copy link. In LUNA select Notion and enter the connection name, page URL and token. Registering a URL alone does not grant Notion access.
Child pages are traversed where permissions inherit. Add the connection on separately restricted child pages too. For another workspace, create an additional LUNA connection using that workspace’s integration/token.
3. Verify new and updated documents
Enable the connection and optional scheduled collection → Save → Collect now. Search Materials by this project and the Notion page title, then inspect its body.
For a test, add a short sentence to the connected Notion page and collect again. Verify the source update time and new content; remove the test sentence in Notion yourself.
For zero results/access errors check the token workspace, the page’s Connections menu and private child-page access. Large trees may require further collections; unsupported blocks and limits appear in collection details.
