1. Identify library and collection
In Zotero desktop click Sync at the upper right to update the web library. Sign in at https://www.zotero.org and open the personal or group Web Library.
For a group open Groups → the group: the number in https://www.zotero.org/groups/NUMBER/NAME is its library ID. For a personal library use userID shown under Settings → Feeds/API → API Keys. Do not enter the username instead of its numeric ID.
For a collection, click it in the web library sidebar and copy the eight-character key after /collections/ in the URL. Leave the collection blank for the entire library.
2. Create a key and fill the form
Open https://www.zotero.org/settings/keys → Create new private key → name it LUNA references → allow read access to your Personal Library or required groups. Write access is unnecessary. Copy the generated key.
LUNA → Zotero → connection name → library type (group/personal) → numeric ID → optional collection key → API key in the token field → Save. The source URL is built from these IDs automatically. Add separate connections for other libraries/accounts.
3. Check the reference list
Collect now → project home → References → View list. Check authors, year, abstract and DOI/source links. In Materials combine the Reference category with project and tag filters.
After editing Zotero metadata, sync Zotero and collect again or wait for scheduled collection. Collection imports accessible bibliographic information; it does not grant access to paid paper PDFs.
