1. Check the connection and permission

  1. Open the report, material, document, data or event detail page. You need both access and the applicable management permission.
  2. Find Notion publish near the bottom, usually beside Move to trash. If missing, check whether this source type and your role support publication.
  3. An eligible connection in the same lab is required. Ask its manager to verify content insertion permission, an active connection and integration access to the parent page.
  4. People who can access the Notion parent may read the published content. Platform Only me and project permissions are not copied into Notion.

2. Select destination, preview and publish

  1. Choose Notion publish, then select the destination by connection name and scope.
  2. Review the title, body, related context, original link and parent page. The operation creates a new page for this source.
  3. Confirm only when content and destination are correct. Wait and check status while processing. It does not send file binaries or all linked documents.
  4. On success, open the Notion link and check the title and body. Continue editing in Notion; the platform does not automatically overwrite both copies in both directions.
  5. The confirmed Notion page ID prevents the published output from reappearing as a duplicate collected material. Existing documents are not removed merely because their titles match.

3. Handle failed or uncertain publication

  1. Distinguish a confirmed failure from Could not confirm publication. An uncertain state may mean Notion created the page even though confirmation was lost.
  2. First inspect the parent in Notion for a new page and use Refresh status in LUNA. Do not repeatedly create new reports or publish attempts without checking.
  3. For a confirmed permission rejection, correct insertion capability, parent-page sharing and expired credentials. Retry only where the interface offers it for a definite failure.
  4. If the source or connection changed during review, reopen the review screen and check the current content and destination.
  5. For persistent uncertainty, send Support the source URL and time of action. Do not include secret tokens or the entire private source.
