Read and publish bilingual research stories and inspect references.

1. Read a summary, full article and archive
- The People shaping our lab section on Overview shows one latest readable article summary, without inline document citations.
- Open the full article, evidence and discussion to read the complete story including its summary. Evidence is collected in Sources used in this report below the article.
- Follow the other articles/archive link to browse previous editions. One Overview card does not mean older articles were deleted.
- Unreadable or trashed articles may be hidden. An unavailable-source notice means the source's current state cannot be verified.
2. Administrator: configure publication and badges
- Open Lab management → AI research activity magazine for the lab.
- Enable it and select daily, weekly and/or monthly publication. Set minimum evidence per candidate, selection criteria and article instructions, then save.
- Set the profile celebration duration from 1 to 3650 days. A badge and article link appear for that period after selection; the article remains archived after the badge expires.
- Give concrete instructions, such as emphasizing reproducible validation and collaboration, including the researcher's name in a descriptive headline and using an editorial magazine tone.
- Candidates need collected author/assignee evidence. Selection is not fixed to a named person, but a one-person candidate pool limits comparison. It is not an objective ranking of actual effort.
3. Publish an edition now
- Save magazine settings, then choose a period under Publish magazine now: today, this week to date or this month to date.
- Press Publish now once. An already running edition for that period opens instead of creating a duplicate running job.
- Check the linked report's pending, running and completed states. Publication follows AI writing and evidence validation. Requesting a completed period again may create another edition.
- If candidates lack evidence, check GitHub/Notion attribution and collection within the period. For disabled AI, limits or failure, inspect the settings and job status.
- Choose selection notifications in preferences. Lumen awards are separate administrator-reviewed Timebank transactions, not automatic payments.
Insert files and images inside the body
- Open a new wiki page, Edit page, a new/edit proposal, Write report, or a manual magazine article.
- Select the Notion connection for a report or the lab for an article first. That lab needs a configured private Google Drive archive.
- Click the insertion point inside the body. Choose Attach file for PDF, DOCX, HWP, TXT, Markdown, ZIP and other supported files, or Add image for PNG, JPEG or WebP.
- Limits are 20MB per file, 1.5MB per image and 20 attachments per document. Once Drive storage is confirmed, a download link or image Markdown appears at the chosen position. Images are normalized to safe JPEGs.
- Check Preview, then save/publish or submit the proposal. Use Retry attachment or Cancel attachment if transfer fails. If Google archive authorization has expired, keep the editor open, use Open archive account settings in a new tab, reconnect the existing account and retry. No new folder is needed. Ask your lab administrator to reconnect if you cannot manage settings. Finish uploads before saving.
- Before saving, only the uploader can access new files. Pending proposal files are available only to the author and reviewers. Saved files follow the document audience, including Only me and revoked memberships.
- Notion exports and wiki ZIPs retain authenticated platform links for new attachments. They do not make files public or copy large originals into the ZIP. Download originals using their links. Read-only collected documents are still edited in their original service.
Korean and English stories for all members
- Read the latest story on Overview or open the full Magazine archive. Distribution editions are available to all active signed-in members regardless of grant or project participation, not anonymous internet visitors.
- Choose Korean or English for the title, summary and body. Share, export and favorite icons are available.
- New or edited articles receive a background bilingual rewrite and separate editorial review. Unpublished results, contracts, personal information, internal links and commit IDs are omitted; stories explain the research question, central idea, current development, its significance and next verification steps in accessible prose. Articles reduced to generic praise or collaboration updates are held at editorial review.
- Unreviewed originals are not exposed to nonparticipants. Author permissions, AI quota and lab settings may delay preparation. Drafts and Only me articles are not distributed.
- Original drafts, evidence, attachments and historic internal discussions retain their permissions. Distribution editions have separate discussions. Temporary source outages do not hide an already reviewed edition.
- Editing, making the original private or deleting it hides the edition until the updated source passes review.
Researcher profiles and article references
Below the article, select a featured researcher name to open their profile. References and supporting materials list document titles and links only when you can currently read both the source report and each document. The article body has no inline citation links. An empty list does not mean there are no sources; access or connection status may limit availability. Printing and exports follow the same permissions.
