1. Find the repository URL
Sign in to GitHub → organization or personal profile → Repositories → open the repository → Code. Copy https://github.com/OWNER/REPOSITORY from the address bar, without /tree/main, /issues or /projects.
Check the branch selector above the file list (for example main or master).
In LUNA choose GitHub → Repository. Enter a descriptive connection name, paste the repository URL, enter that branch and use . for the entire repository folder.
2. Create a read token
GitHub avatar → Settings → Developer settings → Personal access tokens → Fine-grained tokens → Generate new token.
Set Token name and Expiration. Resource owner must be the owner organization/account. Under Repository access choose Only select repositories and select the target.
Under Repository permissions set Contents, Issues and Pull requests to Read-only; Metadata is automatic. Click Generate token and paste the result only into LUNA’s read-token field. An organization approval request must be approved by its administrator.
Tokens also avoid the lower unauthenticated rate limit for public repositories. Do not paste a token into chat or documents.
3. Save, collect and verify
Enable the connection, optionally enable scheduled collection and set an interval such as 60 minutes. Save connection → Collect now → Refresh status.
Open the project home → material library → Source code or Materials, then inspect a file’s source link and update time. Partial collection means supported scope or request/body limits applied; open the collection details. Add another connection for each additional repository.
